Face Offs

Why is it usually, once you have been with someone for a period of time, you will take the most minor of criticism and turn it into all out WAR. Maybe it's because we sometimes unrealistically believe that, your special someone should magically understand all about you and that you should perfect in their eyes (or at least they should turn a blind eye to your faults). Forgetting that they too are human and sometime a comment is just to be taken with a grain of salt and not become a tit for tat.........
